• The App is currently operated by Hannah Lenthall, the individual developer and owner of Veyaia.
• References to “Veyaia,” “we,” “us,” or “our” refer to the App operated by Hannah Lenthall trading as Veyaia.
• A future company named Veyaia Ltd may assume responsibility for operating the App once incorporated.
• If this happens, this Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly. Until then, the legal data controller is Hannah Lenthall.
• We are committed to protecting your privacy and keeping your personal data safe. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, how we keep it secure and your rights as a user of the App.

All data listed below is collected only when relevant and with user consent.

Personal Information

• Email address
• Region and language
• User ID

Account and Usage Information

• Subscription status (Pro/free)
• Last login, last interaction times
• App usage streaks

Vision Boards and Goals

• Vision board titles, images, keywords and templates
• Goal plans, themes, target dates, progress and notifications
• Habit suggestions and daily habit instances
• Mood log entries

AI Chat and Insights

• AI-generated insights, affirmations and chat summary
• User-submitted prompts, messages and app interactions

Device Data

• Basic device identifiers (for security and support, not for advertising)

We use your data to:

• Provide and personalise your experience using Veyaia
• Sync your vision boards, habits and goals across devices
• Generate AI-powered insights, affirmations and habit recommendations
• Track your progress and streaks, and send reminders or notifications (if enabled)
• Improve app performance and user support
• Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your data to third parties.

• All data is securely stored using Firebase (EU servers where applicable), with encryption at rest and in transit.
• Access is limited to essential operational and support functions only.
• We use secure authentication (Apple, Google or email/password) to protect your account.

We only share your data in these cases:

• With third-party processors to deliver Veyaia features (e.g. OpenAI for AI chat/insights; Google/Firebase for data storage).
• When legally required (such as to comply with law enforcement, court orders, or legal process).
• With your explicit consent, for example, if you export your data.

We do not share or sell your data for advertising or marketing.

• Some Veyaia features use AI to generate insights or responses (e.g., Vision Architect, affirmations and chat).
• User prompts and vision board content may be processed by third-party AI services (e.g., OpenAI). These providers have their own privacy and security policies.
• AI outputs are for personal growth and inspiration only, not professional advice.
• We recommend not sharing sensitive or personal health information in free-text AI chat prompts.

• We retain your data while your account is active and for a short period after account deletion (for backup and legal compliance).
• You may request data deletion at any time via the app or by contacting us (see Section 11).

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:

• Access: You can request a copy of your data.
• Correction: You can update your information in the app.
• Deletion: You can delete your account and all associated data at any time.
• Restriction/Objection: You may ask us to stop using some of your data.
• Portability: You can request an export of your data.

Veyaia is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under this age. If you are a parent/guardian and believe your child has provided data, contact us for prompt deletion.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or by email.
